Over the last 20 years, I've spent a great deal of time working as a designer for a big, network-affiliated television station in Washington, DC.
Before that, I was Senior Designer at Atlantic Video (the largest studio and post-production facility in Washington, DC at that time) with a client list about 10 miles long: HBO, Comedy Central, ESPN, The Discovery Channel, BET, Animal Planet, MTV, CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, VH1, Polygram Records and Sony Music to name a very few. I also worked on 3 U.S. Presidential campaigns as a graphic designer and video editor. Along the way, I worked personally for Disco Diva Donna Summer and her label Polygram. Later did some work for Parliament-Funkadelic for Mercury Records.
I've been creating photographs since I was about 10 years old. Both on film and digitally. I learned to develop film negatives in the bathroom sink when I was about eleven.
Shot my way through a lot of cameras over the years. And I absolutely love movies. When I was a kid I would force my childhood friends to be in little Super 8mm productions and my senior year in high school made a half-hour horror film that played for a packed house on Halloween night in my hometown of Pensacola, Florida. I was about 17 years old.
I still carry cameras around with me everywhere I go. In the last several years I've played around with the RED, the Blackmagic Cinema Camera, the Panasonic GH2, Canon 5D, 7D, and I own a Lumix GH4 4K camera among others.
ABOVE is a small collection of my Television Broadcast designs, general photography, cover art for some of my releases and stills from some of my short films.
